Hi, I’m Fred Heim, the proud owner and president of operations at Hammer Creek Renovations. Construction has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a boy, I spent countless days on job sites with my dad, learning the craft and absorbing the value of hard work. That early exposure sparked a passion for construction that continues to drive me today. For me, renovating homes is more than just a profession—it’s a calling. I take pride in creating spaces that honor the character and history of a home while enhancing its functionality and flow for modern living. I enjoy meeting homeowners, understanding their unique needs, and working collaboratively to design and execute creative solutions. Equally rewarding is building a team that shares my passion and commitment to excellence. At Hammer Creek Renovations, we are more than coworkers—we’re a family. I am dedicated to fostering a workplace where our team can thrive, grow, and continuously learn together. With over 20 years of award-winning construction experience, I am committed to delivering quality, value, and creativity in every project we take on. When I’m not on the job, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my four kids, tackling ongoing renovation projects at my own home, playing pickleball, or savoring a rare quiet moment with my wife. Gavin Bean embodies a dedicated and hardworking spirit within the Hammer Creek Renovations team. A Lebanon County Career and Technology Center alumnus in Carpentry, he holds a certification in Electrical Construction and Maintenance from Thaddeus Stevens. Gavin’s comprehensive background encompasses flooring, tiling, and various trades. Gavin derives immense satisfaction from the tangible results of his work—the tangible completion of projects that reflect his efforts and expertise. Recognized for his coachable demeanor and willingness to learn, Gavin takes pride in his adaptability, drive, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional work on each project. Driven by his passion for hands-on work and the boundless potential of his chosen field, Gavin finds purpose in utilizing his skills to support others, particularly those in need. Outside of professional endeavors, Gavin maintains an active lifestyle through snowboarding, basketball, and outdoor activities. He is also an ardent volunteer and actively engages with his church community. An interesting fact about Gavin is his proficiency in juggling, which surpasses the average level.
